Move over coffee Teeccino is taking over

I’m sitting in my favorite nook with the sun shining and writing today’s blog. Normally this nook is reserved for a morning ritual of a great cup of coffee, the welcomed sunshine and the newspaper; it is how I love to start my day.

For a while now my ritual has been torn apart with the final spastic bowel I had that lasted three days from drinking coffee. I have a love/hate relationship with coffee. I love… no….worship coffee. I don’t drink coffee to wake me up or to get me through a day I consume for the taste, the color and the feel-good vibes – like my favorite morning nook.

The dark side of my relationship with the black gold is the adverse side effects that I suffer relentlessly at the hands of tiny ground beans. Coffee, cream and sugar turn this alkaline herb into an acidic environment that turns the gut into a bacterial playground. Other problems with this ubiquitous drug come with the processing and growing of the beans which results in mild to serious side effects including aggitation, heartburn, bed wetting, irregular heartbeat and nutritional deficiencies.

Today not only am I writing my blog from my sun kissed nook, I am enjoying a great cup of Teeccino. Recently, the company sent me some samples of their coffee alternative to try out. To be quite honest I had thoughts of goop brewing in my coffee pot and pounds of sugar in my cup remotely make it palatable. I followed the instructions to the letter for my first brew to give it an honest go and it was too weak for me.

The following morning I made it like I was making coffee for myself –thick enough for a spoon to stand up in it. I had a dark, rich full-bodied brew and I must say not only was a pleasantly surprised, I was hooked! A spot of soy creamer and I had the perfect golden eye candy. As I savored the color and slight chicory aroma I witness my nook shining brighter than it ever had. The sirens of the morning ritual were lulling me back.

If you are an avid coffee-holic, listen up: Your Teeccino siren is calling. Teeccino contains no caffeine, so there are no adverse side-effects like high blood pressure, spastic colon, adrenal exhaustion, altered mood and behavior, headaches and insomnia. In addition, pregnant women, diabetics and people with GERD can all get some relief from wanting coffee by drinking Teeccino instead!

Teeccino gives you the daily coffee brewing ritual without the side effects. Teeccino has been around for 15 years and, has evolved into this fabulous product. Basically, Teeccino is BRILLIANT!

So what is Teeccino?

You can take a look online and see everything you need about Teeccino. Their web site
http://www.teeccino.com/has explanations for all of their ingredients, the way to brew, reasons not to drink coffee and why caffeine isn’t great for you.

Teeccino is a caffeine-free organic, (some 75% organic) substitute made from carob, barley, chicory, Ramón nuts and organic coffee flavour. I have an issue with natural flavours and received this from Caroline MacDougall creator of Teeccino:

Natural flavors are made from flavoring constituents that are extracted from
natural ingredients like fruits, spices, herbs and even coffee. Teeccino
flavors do not contain any constituents from meat, seafood, poultry, eggs,
or edible yeast. Teeccino does not allow any monosodium glutamate, propylene glycol, or preservatives in its flavors.

Ladies and gentlemen- I’m hooked and you should be, too! If you are tired of the excess nervousness, irritability, restless legs, dizziness and subsequent fatigue, get hooked on Teeccino.

You are not substituting coffee with Teeccino, you are a making the choice for a healthy lifestyle change. And here’s why; Teeccino is an herbal coffee blend of herbs, nuts, fruits and grains.

There are two Teeccino lines to choose from: The Mediterranean line and the Maya line. The seven Mediterranean flavors are made from chicory, barley, figs, dates and nuts with flavors that include Hazelnut, Java, Mocha, Chocolate Mint and Vanilla Nut.

The Maya flavors have a main in ingredient of the Ramon nut, found in Peten region of Guatemala. The Ramon nut is high in potassium, fiber and tryptophan and naturally detoxifies the liver, un-like coffee that actually congests the liver. The three flavors of this line are Chai, Chocolaté and Caffé.

All flavors contain Potassium, a heart-healthy and blood pressure electrolyte (along with other electrolytes) that can actually relieve restless leg syndrome, and calm nervousness and anxiety and is GREAT for pregnant women. In addition, Teeccino’s herb blends actually restore alkalinity and improve gut flora thus improving digestion and immunity.

The chicory root in Teeccino may relieve constipation and increase digestion which aids in the absorption of calcium and other minerals.

Inulin a natural fiber extracted from chicory root has a long list of health benefits such as increasing bone strength, controls blood sugar levels and may even reduce cholesterol. Compared to the highly acidic mineral thief Coffee Teeccino just makes sense.

For those of you who are gluten intolerant and tuned into the barley and chicory ingredients; no worries. The people at Teeccino have assured that this product is gluten free once brewed with a coffee filter (a natural, non-bleached filter of course). I have been drinking Teeccino for three weeks now and I have only used a reusable gold screen filter with no digestive issues. I am gluten intolerant and highly sensitive to even trace amounts of gluten. Teeccino has not affected my digestion at all.

On that note, everyone is different and I would recommend using the paper coffee filter to ensure no grounds make it in to your cup. If you do have a gluten intolerance or diagnosed Celiac Disease, discuss with your Doctor first before trying Teeccino.

Take the Teeccino challenge!

To get started Teeccino is offering a free sample or you may wish to purchase their variety Teeccino Sampler Pack.

Whatever you do don’t quit cold turkey; there are too many withdrawal side effects. You want Teeccino to be a pleasant ritual. Substitute a teaspoon or tablespoon of coffee grounds with Teeccino every 2 days until you are completely enjoying Teeccino. If this sounds too fast, then take longer, work at your own pace. Once you are completely weaned off pay attention to how you feel over the next week. You may find that you have increased clarity, more energy, and your thoughts are more positive. I would love to hear from you about your experiences and success stories.
